Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984), better known as Aisling Bea is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea's acting career started in the year the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after she appeared in small roles on Irish and British TV shows that began in the year 2009. The comedian began to appear often on sketch comedy and sitcoms later in the year. Following her prize from the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 She began appearing on numerous panels, and is becoming a mainstay. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a member of 8 Out of 10 Cats Team, in addition to being a performer on the 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown spinoff. She was born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, she is the mother of one sister named Sinead. She is only the second ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born 16 March 1984 at Kildare, County Kildare. The father of Bea was Brian was a veterinarian for horses who committed suicide when she was just three years old. She was not aware of the cause for her father's death until 13 years later. Bea chose to stage her name Bea in honor of her father who passed away. Bea also published a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea was raised alongside her younger sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer, as well as a former professional racer. Her family were racing and horse-related. Bea was a guide for her family's involvement at the Irish National Stud in her young teens. But she was aware that it wasn't what she wanted to pursue as a profession and preferred doing.
